ABOUT OUR STAFF
Our Pastor
Fr. Dustin Boehm
I was Baptized on September 25, 1983, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove, Indiana. Thanks to my parents and our Lord, that day was and remains the most important day of my life. I grew up on the Southside of Indianapolis where I attended Our Lady of the Greenwood Parish and School, as well as Roncalli High School. Next, I entered St. John Vianney College Seminary in St. Paul, MN. Upon graduation in 2006, I went to St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology until the Spring of 2011. After nine years in seminary, I was finally ordained a priest on June 4, 2011. I began my priestly ministry as Associate Pastor at St. Monica Church and chaplain at Cardinal Ritter High School until 2014. In July of that year, I arrived at what is now home: Saints Gabriel and Bridget Parishes.
Our Associate Pastor
Fr. Jose Carlos Neri
My name is Fr. Jose Carlos Neri, and I am 33 years old. I was born in Mexico. When I was 12, my family and I arrived in Indianapolis and have lived here since then. When I was 19 years old, I began thinking about the priesthood. After a few years of personal discernment, I approached my pastor at the time, and he suggested I should visit the seminary. When I finally did, I learned that God was calling me to it. I entered seminary and after two years I left. After I left, God kept calling me to the priesthood, and upon graduating college, I decided to go back to seminary in 2018. After five years of formation at St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, thanks to the grace of God, I was ordained a priest on June 3, 2023.
I spent my first two years as a priest at Our Lady of the Greenwood Parish, right before being assigned to St. Mary, St. Gabriel, and St. Bridget. During my time here, I would like to serve God and his people in any possible way. I would really like to get to know the community, families and individuals, and would really like to establish some personal connections. Some of my interests are camping, canoeing, hiking, running, and bonfires. I also love sharing meals with people and love getting to know others, so please, never hesitate to talk to me.
